The Osun State High Court as a major Judicial Arm is engaged in the following line of activities, viz:

1. Hearing and determination of civil proceedings in which the existence or extent of a legal right, power, duty, liability, privilege, interest, obligation or claim is in issue.
2. Hearing and determination of criminal proceedings involving or relating to any penalty, forfeiture, punishment or other liability in respect of any offence committed by any person.
3. Grant of Probate, Custody and administration of wills and the issuance of letters of administration.
4. Provision and maintenance of a well equipped and efficient Law library (E-library inclusive) for the use of Judicial Officers, Legal Practitioners, Researchers, Law students, Litigants and individuals having interest in the business of the Court.
5. The setting and compilation of the Records of Appeal for onward transmission to the Court of Appeal in respect of suits going on appeal from the High Court of the state.
6. Execution and Enforcement of the judgments, orders and decisions of the Courts in the State of Osun on completion of Judicial process.
7. Issuance of Certified True Copies of judgments, orders, Rulings and other Court processes to litigants and members of the public in general on demand and after the payment of appropriate fees.
